At the opening ceremony, the university administration and guests came together with the people of Varto and emphasized the importance of the college for the region and the opportunities it provides. Drawing attention to the potential of Varto in his speech, our Rector stated that the university is working to improve the quality of educational services in the region. "We have come to Varto 13 times in the last two months and our interest in this region will continue. We will have one foot here; we will closely follow the needs of our students in Varto and work with all our strength to bring our school to the level we desire. If our students are happy and satisfied here, we can invest more in our school and expand it," he said.
After the opening, guests and participants toured the college building and examined classrooms, laboratories and social areas.
