The program held at the Sabahattin Zaim Conference Hall of our university, Varto Vocational School Director Assoc. Dr. Nevin TURAN ÖZEK hosted various presentations and demonstrations by Muş Provincial Gendarmerie Command, Narcotics Division and Yeşilay Muş Branch.
In the first part of the program, Green Crescent Muş Branch, Addiction Fighting Farmer; Servet BINGOL informed our students about addiction and the fight against addiction. BINGOL, who shared statistical data from Turkey and the world on addiction, gave information about the role of the Green Crescent in this fight.
In the second part of the program, Muş Provincial Gendarmerie Command, Narcotic Section Chief; Gendarmerie Chief Sergeant Osman ÖZÇELİK informed our students about the legal regulations and legislation regarding drug crimes. Then, the spectacular show and success of the narcotic dogs, who played an active role in the fight against drugs, received great applause.
In the last part of the program, Gendarmerie Sergeant Merve BİLEN, who made the presentation of the "BEST NARCOTICS POLICE MOTHER PROJECT" conducted by the Ministry of Interior, drew attention to the fact that the most important factor in the fight against addiction is our families and our mothers.
The seminar program held was followed by academicians, students and all internal and external stakeholders with intense participation and interest. After the program, the participants were presented with the Director of the School, Assoc. Dr. Certificates of appreciation were presented by Nevin TURAN ÖZEK.
