Awareness events were organized in our school within the scope of 25 November International Day for the Elimination of Violence Against Women. Representatives of Varto Social Services Directorate, District Police Department and Youth and Sports District Directorate were our guests at the event.
Representatives of the institution provided various information to students in order to prevent violence against women and raise awareness on this issue. During the event, brochures about types of violence, ways to combat violence and help mechanisms were distributed to students.
The program aimed to raise social awareness among students and raise awareness for a society without violence. We thank all institution representatives for their contributions and hope that such events will become more common in our society.
